This year, Liberty, the Mayor of London’s free disability arts festival presents an exciting weekend of cutting edge arts in a variety of venues around Walthamstow. Delivered in partnership with Waltham Forest London Borough of Culture 2019, Liberty showcases a diverse programme of ground breaking art and performance, celebrating the work of leading deaf and disabled artists.  There will be sensory installations, thought-provoking performances, new commissions and workshops. Look out for: Stopgap Dance’s piece about human interdependence, strength and vulnerability c horeographed by E17 local Shyne Phiri. Then there’s Handprint Theatre’s special performance for deaf and hearing audiences called Our Patchwork Community . Festival favourites Candoco Dance Company return with a romantic duet You & I Know , choreographed by the legendary Arlene Phillips. Immerse yourself in Nwando Ebizie’s sensory piece, Distorted Constellations. Take a journey through The Luminari
