We are delighted to announce our first Short Story Station Writing Competition! Our three Short Story Stations are currently in storage, patiently waiting until they can once again dispense thousands of free short stories for you to read. In the meantime, we are looking for your help to create more short stories to add to our stations’ library by holding our first competition. We’re asking you to write a 1, 3 or 5 minute long story or poem about ‘Life in Lockdown’, drawing inspiration from the incredible and unprecedented situation we find ourselves in. Your story can be thought provoking or enlightening, romantic or amusing. Whist the story should be fictional, it can centre on any aspect of your choosing, whether it is a new discovery or skill learned, a new relationship or struggles encountered whilst self-isolating; the opportunities are endless. We welcome stories from people both young and old so we’ll have two categories, an Adult Competition and a Young Writers’ Competition for
